PURPOSE:To carry out specific operation speedily with narrow occupation area by composing a monitor device for the state before radiation washing by using a receiver for bodies to be washed, a radiation measuring instrument, and a sorting mechanism for the bodies to be washed. CONSTITUTION:An operator 14 throws clothes 10, etc., in a bucket 17 held on a floor 13 and then a driving wheel control mechanism 50 lowers the bucket 17 which contains the clothes. Then when the radiation measuring instrument 15 decides that the degree of radiation contamination of the clothes 10 is high, the bottom part 17a of the bucket 17 is opened to throw the clothes 10 in the 1st sorting container 21 and when it is decided the degree of contamination is low, the bottom part 17a is not opened, so the clothes 10 in the bucket 17 rotate around a driven wheel 20 along with the bucket 17 and falls in the 2nd sorting container 23. Thus, clothes which are low in the degree of radiation contamination are collected in the container and automatic sorting is carried out.
