PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency in providing tag information to articles using a binder by automatically carrying printed labels and attaching them to the body of a binding belt which binds articles. CONSTITUTION:A control part 9 receives fixed information and variable information from a computer 70a and a computer 70b respectively, and combines these informations internally. Then the part constructs tag information to be printed on labels 4 and outputs it to a printer control part 70. Tag information equivalent to a single sheet is printed on the front surface of the label 4 by an ink jet injected from a printer head 76. Next, the printed label 4 is sent to a label suction table 75, and the control part 9 actuates a manipulator control part 60. Following this process, the part 60 causes a suction plate 63 to suck the label 4 and carry the label to the top of an attachment table 3. The printed label 4 is pressed to the upper surface of a binding belt body 20 located at the position of the attachment table 4 so that the label is attached to the binding belt body 20. Simultaneous with the attachment of the label 4 to the binding belt body 20, the control body 9 issues an action start command to a binder control part 8 to wind a label-attached binding belt 20a around a finished product, thus binding the latter.
