PURPOSE:To secure the durability of a friction engaging device while reduce the shock on speed change by providing a means of detecting a rotating speed, and a means of setting the target value of the pressure regulation of controlling oil pressure at the time of speed change. CONSTITUTION:The signals of a throttle sensor 80 in which the load condition of an engine 1 is reflected, a vehicle speed sensor 82, and a C0 speed sensor 99 for detecting the rotating speed of a clutch C0, etc. are inputted into a computer (ECU) 84. And, solenoid valves S1, S2 (for a shift valve), SL (for a lock-up clutch), and an electromagnetic proportional valve SD (for controlling line oil pressure) in an oil pressure control circuit 86 are driven and controlled to carry out speed change control, according to a preset speed change map by means of the computer (ECU) 84.
