CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas containing fine powdery boiler dust is sent out to the electrostatic precipitator of a rear stage and sent into a dust-containing gas inlet to detect treatment gas quantity Q by a treatment gas flowmeter 12. Next, inlet soot concn. Ci is detected by an inlet soot densitometer 14 and the exhaust gas is sent out to the treatment part of the electrostatic precipitator to receive dust collecting treatment by corona discharge. The purified gas to which dust collecting treatment was applied is sent to the purified gas outlet provided to the rear stage of the treatment part 16 of the electrostatic precipitator and outlet soot concn.
