PURPOSE:To prevent coupling noise from occurring by supplying a bias voltage to horizontal signal lines through a diode-type MOSFET or a high resistor means, to remove a pseudo signal that may occur in the horizontal signal line in a non-selecting state. CONSTITUTION:During the time of reading out one-line share (V1) of a picture signal from the horizontal signal line HS1, the horizontal signal lines of other lines HS2 and HS3 in a non-selecting state are virtually in the floating state because switch-MOSFETs Q14 and Q15 are OFF. Since the charges stored in these horizontal signal lines form a pseudo signal (smear, blooming, etc.), they should be eliminated. For this purpose, a bias voltage VB is supplied to MOSFETs Q17 and Q18. Accordingly, the levels of the lines HS2 and HS3 comes to lower than the voltage VB by the value equal to the threshold of the MOSFETs, causing the MOSFETs Q17 and Q18 to turn ON. As a result, the pseudo signal is automatically reset, and the level of the pseudo signal is limited in a very small voltage.
