PURPOSE:To make space heating and cooling efficiently by a method wherein an adapter for air conditioning in a separate room is installed at the back of a main upright duct and the suction hole and blow-off hole of an air conditioner main body are connected in such a condition as to be able to switch over to a primary and a secondary wind passages connected to the upper gateway and the lower gateway of the upright duct respectively. CONSTITUTION:At the time of space cooling a damper 17 lies down to close a suction hole 11 and a damper 18 rises up to close a blow-off hole 10 and therefore, cool air is blown off from the upper gateway 1 of a main upright duct 3. As a suction chamber 9c is connected to a wind passage 5, the air in a room is sucked in from the lower gateway 2. Cool air is also blown off from the upper gateway 106 of an adapter 100 for air conditioning in a separate room and air suction is also carried out from the lower gateway 107 for the separate room. At the time of space heating the damper 17 rises up to close the hole 10 and the damper 18 lies down to close the hole 11 and therefore warm air is blown off from the hole 2 and the air in the room is sucked in from the hole 1. Warm air blow-off is also carried out from the gateway 107 and air suction is carried out from the gateway 106. |
