PURPOSE:To eliminate the processings necessary for replacing all the control procedures depending on an equipment to be connected by defining the specifications for each I/O means, and selecting an analyzing means that analyzes a command in accordance with said definition of the specifications. CONSTITUTION:After the power source is supplied to the titled device, a RAM 2 is initialized, then the set values of the first interface setting part 11 and the second interface setting part 14 are read, and which of a host-interface and an output-interface is set is checked. If the set interface is the former, a host-command analyzing part 9 is connected to an interface port 10, and if it is the latter, an output-command analyzing part 12 is connected to an interface port 13. Thereafter, whether a reception data from a host equipment 300 is a command or not is checked, and if it is a command, the processing is executed in accordance with the command analyzed by the part 9.
