PURPOSE:To obtain a large torque at the moment that phases are switched by increasing a current amount flowing to phase coils for the initial short time within a current flowing period to the phase coils. CONSTITUTION:A monostable circuit 36 generates a pulse signal of a predetermined time width in response to the input of a timing clock, and supplies the pulse signal to one input terminal of 2-input NOR gate 37. Thus, the initial short time within energizing time to the phase coils and current amounts flowing to the phase coils are increased synchronously with the timing clock when a motor is normally operated. Thus, the torque of the motor is increased at the initial time of generating a timing clock to smoothly switch the step to high speed rotation. |
