PURPOSE:To form a measuring instrument which is compact and high in the reliability of a measuring value by writing the same measuring data into the position where plural areas of a rewritable memory device are mutually corresponded to. CONSTITUTION:Into areas H1-H13, the same working times are respectively written and into areas N1-N3, the number of times of the turning-on of the same electric power source is respectively written. In short, when a writing primary factor occurs, the same time data are written into the same position of the areas H1-H3, and into the same position of the areas N1-N3, the data of the same number of the times are successively written. Thus, even when the electric power source is interrupted in a writing cycle (about 10ms) to either of areas and the data are destructed, the correct measuring value can be recovered by using other data. Namely, when the electric power source is turned on, three pieces of data in respective areas are compared, and when one value out of them is different, then, it may be rewritten by matching it to other two pieces of the same data.
