MEDIUM FOR PHOTOMAGNETIC RECORDING

摘要

PURPOSE:To easily obtain a vertical film without adding conditions for generating a vertical film to the magnetic alloy itself by consisting a titled medium of a nonmagnetic supporting substrate having fine pores opened to the surface and the magnetic alloy existing to pack the inside of the fine pores and forming the medium in such a manner that the direction of the axis of easy magnetization of the magnetic alloy coincides with the axial direction of the fine pores. CONSTITUTION:This medium consists of the nonmagnetic supporting substrate having the fine pores opened to the surface and the magnetic alloy existing to pack the inside of the fine pores and is so constituted that the direction of the axis of easy magnetization of the magnetic alloy coincides substantially with the major axis direction of the fine pores. Since the need for adding the conditions for generating the vertical film in the magnetic alloy itself is thereby eliminated, the magnetic alloy to be packed into the fine pores is selectable to meet the object from alloys consisting of ferrous elements as a base material with the major emphasis on the Curie temp. to govern recording sensitivity and the magnitude of the magnetization to affect the rotating angle.
