PURPOSE:To improve the job executing efficiency by enabling a user to designate the first, intermediate and final executing nodes. CONSTITUTION:It is supposed that a node A is a job application node, a node B is a fast artificial intellect processor for numerical processing, a node C is a large scale data base, a node D is a superhigh-speed computer for scientific calculation, and a node E is a fast and large capacity printer respectively. Here a job is applied from the node A to obtain a numerical answer of a differential equation and a user designates a JCL (job control sentence). Thus a job is applied to the node A and the JCL is transferred to the node B to undergo a process at a numerical formula level. The processing result of the node B is transferred to the node D as an input job to undergo a process at a numeric level. In this case, the JCL is also sent to the node D and then transferred to the node A as the SYSOUT output. Then the JCL is sent to the node A. Thus the desired result is obtained with a single application of the job.
