PURPOSE:To obtain an oligomer which can give a cured article having chemical resistance, heat resistance and adhesion, by reacting a specified polymer with an epoxy compound and a specified carboxyl group-containing monomer. CONSTITUTION:A polymer (A) obtained by polymerizing a radical-polymerizable monomer in the presence of a mercaptan chain transfer agent having at least one carboxyl group in the molecule, an epoxy compound (B) having at least two epoxy groups in the molecule, and at least one monomer (C) selected from among acrylic acid, methacrylic acid and a carboxyl group-containing monomer of the formula (wherein X is H or CH3, Y is 2-4C linear or branched alkylene and Z is a residue of a dicarboxylic acid anhydride) are reacted together to obtain the purpose oligomer.
