PURPOSE:A herbicide composition having synergistically raised herbicidal effects of each component, capable of withering many kinds of problem weeds with a small amount, obtained by using both 3',4'-dichloropropionanilide and a specific pyrazolesulfonylurea derivative. CONSTITUTION:(A) 3',4'-Dichloropropionanilide and (B) a compound shown by the formula (B is H, halogen or lower alkoxy; R is lower alkyl) as active ingredients are blended in a weight ratio of 0.001-50pts.wt., preferably 0.001-10 pts.wt. component B based on 1pt.wt. component A to give a herbicide composition which can control Echiochloa crus-galli Beauv. var. praticola Ohwi., annual weeds - perennial weeds with a small amount and yet has no phytotoxicity to paddy rice plant. The composition has effects by any treatment either before or after germination of weeds and high effects can be obtained wither by soil treatment or by both foliar and soil treatments. The composition is effective against various crops besides rice plant. |
