SENTENCE READING CORRECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To make correcting work remarkably efficient by automatically detecting misnotation in a sentence, a KANA (Japanese syllabary) added to a Chinese character to show its Japanese declension or a method different from specification and offering the notation of corrected and proposed characters to be replaced to an operator (corrector). CONSTITUTION:A sentence analyzing part 12 forms a pair of notation and reading of each word out of series of identified words and stores the formed pairs successively in a reading string storing part 14. A misnotation correcting part 16 reads out the notation of respective words stored in a reading string storing part 14 and collates the read reading notation with the contents of a misnotation checking dictionary 17 to check the existence of misnotation. When misnotation is detected, the position of the misnotation and a correcting candidate word having correct notation and stored in the dictionary 17 are added to the reading string storing part 14.
