<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate an indefinite position shift and to form an image securely at a specific position on a form by providing a form front end stop position detecting means and a form conveyance start timing correcting means. CONSTITUTION:A light emission part 5 composed of an LED and a photosensor 2 are provided between a form conveyer roller 4 and a photosensitive drum 1 in the middle of a form conveyance path. When a paper detection switch 7 detects the front end of a form 3, a form conveyer roller motor is turned on and a timer A is also started; when the value of the timer A exceeds a predetermined time Ta, the form conveyer roller motor is turned off. The time Ta is a time required to convey the form from a paper detection switch to the detection range of the photosensor 2. The time Tx when the form 3 enters the detection range of the photosensor 2 is found from the detection output of the photosensor 2 and a timer B is started; when the timer value reaches the form conveyance delay time Tx, the form conveyer roller motor is turned on to start carrying the form 3 to the photosensitive drum 1.</p> |
