PURPOSE:To prevent a slip of winding wires in a winding work, by furnishing plural radial winding grooves passing the center set at the position farther from the tube axis at the end surface of a core at the electron gun side, and winding an oblique winding trochoidal type vertical deflecting coil in the winding grooves. CONSTITUTION:A core 1 is divided into two by the horizontal axis X passing the tube axis X, and formed symmetrically. The position, number, and pitch of the wire winding grooves 3a and 3b formed at both end surfaces 1a and 1b of the core 1 are decided by the forms of oblique winding vertical deflecting coils 2 formed at the winding angles thetaG and thetaS to obtain desired axial magnetic field distributions. And 16 wire winding grooves 3a and 3b are formed symmetrical to the horizontal axis X and the vertical axis Y of a front face pattern decided by radial lines from the centers which are crossing the points 4a an 4b that the lines combining the both ends of the winding width at the electron gun side, and the both ends of that of the screen side respectively, cross the vertical line Y passing the tube axis Z. Since the vertical deflecting coils 2 are all accommodated in these wire winding grooves 3a and 3b, winding wires never slip at the winding work.
