The present invention relates to a method for the quantitative assay of antigenic proteins. This method is characterised in that there are successively reacted with the substrates to be analysed a primary antibody directed against the antigenic protein(s), then a biotinylated secondary antibody directed against the primary antibody, and then finally a compound characterised in that it has two functions: one to form a very stable complex with the biotin of the secondary antibody, the other to emit a radioactive radiation which is quantitatively measured using known techniques in order to perform the assay of the said antigenic proteins.
