The invention relates to a process for reinjecting, in a solid-fuel boiler 1 having a "retro" grid 4 fed by nozzles 3, solid particles separated from the flue gases taken from the outlet of the said boiler 1, the said flue gases being sent to a first means 10 for separating the particles of larger size, then to at least one second means 10, 14 for separating the particles of smaller size, the particles separated at the first separating means 10 being reinjected into the said boiler 1. The process according to the invention is characterised by the fact that the particles separated by the second separating means 11, 14 are injected into the first separating means 10.
