In this time-delayed tap, the operating rod 12 and the operating member 13 are hydraulically coupled to one another, the operating rod comprising, at its end opposite that carrying the hollow piston 6, a piston 31 which is slidably mounted in a cylindrical chamber 29 of the said operating member 13, the said cylindrical chamber being filled with liquid and communicating with the internal chamber 9 of the hollow piston 6 through a longitudinal passage 33 which is formed in the operating rod 12 and which comprises a flow-rate reducer. Thus, even if the pushbutton 13 remains accidentally stuck in the pushed-in position, or if it is held pushed in by the user for an excessively long time, the mobile valve 4 formed by the hollow piston 6 closes automatically. <IMAGE>
