Granular biocidal composition

This granular biocidal composition comprises a pulverised biocide which contains 50 % by weight or more of particles having a particle size of 0.5 mm or less and a dispersing agent chosen from: 1. A polymer or a copolymer, which is soluble or dispersible in water, of a monomer of an unsaturated carboxylic acid or of a derivative of the latter; 2. A polymer of styrenesulphonate; 3. A condensate with formalin of a sulphonated polycyclic aromatic compound which can contain a hydrocarbon group as substituent, or a salt of the latter; and 4. An alkali metal phosphate, the said composition having a mean particle size of 0.1 to 1.0 mm and an apparent density of 0.20 to 0.6 g/cm<3>.
