PREPARATION:An amino compound of formula II is oxidized with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a catalyst selected from the systems containing tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium or copper in an inert solvent, preferably soluble in water, particularly a lower alcohol at -20-100 deg.C, preferably -10-60 deg.C to give a compound of formula I. |
