PURPOSE:To improve the operativity at the time of the setting of recording conditions by setting recording conditions different from stored recording conditions in an electrophotographic recording device when the temperature of a fixing device when it is powered on is lower than a specific value. CONSTITUTION:A nonvolatile memory 1 is stored with the recording conditions when a main switch 8 or door switch 6 is turned off last. The switches 6 and 8 are both turned on to turn on a power source 7, and the surface temperature of a heater lamp 2 is detected by a temperature sensor 4. A control circuit 11 which includes a CPU sets previously programmed recording conditions (were a copy quantity is 1, magnification is life size, and density is normal) as initial settings when the surface temperature of the heater lamp 2 is lower than specific temperature or reads out previously stored recording conditions out the nonvolatile memory 1 and sets them unless the heater is below the specific temperature. A display circuit 9 displays the recording conditions on a console panel 10. |
