PURPOSE:To obtain the name of an intermediate code program by starting the operation of a main processor at the program compiled into the head of the intermediate code program and executing the intermediate code part of the intermediate code program through an interpreter. CONSTITUTION:A processor starts the processing with a compiled program 10 and an interpreter program applies the normal processing to the input data every row. An intermediate code program 1 to which the input data is supplied calls not an interpreter 2 and processing the input data to obtain the processing result. When the processing is through with the program 1, the processing of the interpreter program is also through. Thus a compiled program 4 is set back to a step set immediately after the branch of a subroutine. The processor outputs the name of the program 1 in the form of a code when starting the interpreter program processing.
