PURPOSE:To early and accurately detect abnormality in an on-line system network by monitoring an abnormal signal outputted from a network side control device by a system operation monitoring device and displaying the abnormal status on a display device. CONSTITUTION:When a timer part 5 is counted up and time-out is generated, the timer part 5 applies time-out interruption to a control part 4 and the control part 4 interrupts the abnormal signal detection of a central control part 1. The central control part 1 checks the interruption factor and starts a CRT monitor control part 7. The control part 7 displays an abnormal signal detecting message on a CRT display 8 under control from the central control part 4.
