PURPOSE:To make it possible to collectively perform the alteration of PLU (price loop-up) content such as price by one alteration work, by connecting a plurality of electronic balance to a file controller (FC) in an in-line structure according to a loop system. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of electronic balances 2, 3 are connected to a file controller FC1 in an in-line structure according to a loop system. By this system, even if there is communication between the specific balance 2 or 3 and FC1, the other balance 2 or 3 can break in. A personal computer (PC) 5 is connected to this FC1 by a connection wire 6. This PC5 performs tasks such as setting and alteration of the PLU file provided to FC1. Therefore, the alteration of PLU content such as price can collectively be performed on the spot handling the balances by one alteration work.
