PURPOSE:To miniaturize the device by reducing the height of a vessel member and at the same time reduce the amount of pressurizing fluid by a method wherein the discharging of the pressurizing fluid from a chamber is done by evacuation. CONSTITUTION:When the vulcanization of a tire 22 comes to an end, pressurizing fluid in the chamber 28 of a back well 30 is released through the changing- over action of a fluid supplying and carrying-off means 34 and at the same time a bladder 26 is deformed from the shape indicated in the figure (a) to that indicated in the figure (b) in the state that a ram 48 is a little lowered. At this time, the fluid supplying a carrying-off means 34 connects the chamber 28 with a negative pressure source so as to evacuate the chamber 28 in order to deform the bladder 26 in the shape folded halfway as indicated in the figure (d) and housed in the chamber 28 by sucking the pressurizing fluid in such a manner as indicated with the arrow in the figure (c). Thus, no descent of the ram 48 by longer stroke is necessary and the height of the back well 30 can be reduced; consequently, a device can be miniaturized. |
