A movement stop 18 for a motor-vehicle window raiser has a stop part 18 attached to a stop carrier part (baseplate 10) so as to be of adjustable position, catch projections formed by pass-through elevations of the baseplate 10 engaging into catch recesses 22 of the stop part 18 which resemble blind holes. These pass-through elevations can be produced in a simple way without any appreciable weakening of material and without the risk that the corresponding stamping tool will become clogged with zinc chafings. <IMAGE>
