The invention relates to a sealing arrangement for protecting a vehicle-body space, which lies under a lower edge of a motor-vehicle windscreen, from the penetration of water. In this arrangement, a lower edge section of the outer windscreen surface is embraced by a connection component and in the cover region between the connection component and the opposite windscreen surface an elastomeric sealing profile is supported with elastic deformation. In order to ensure the sealing function of this sealing arrangement in driving mode, it is provided that the connection component be attachable at a predetermined distance from the opposite surface of the windscreen, that on the connection component there be held, in a sealing manner, a base of a sealing lip on an attachment surface, and that the sealing lip, the cross-sectional length of which amounts to a multiple of its thickness, extends up the windscreen in such a manner that its free end bears with essentially linear contact on the outer surface of the windscreen. |
