摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration by long-term preservation and repetitive use by providing a surface layer consisting of an amorphous carbon contg. hydrogen and fluorine on a photosensitive layer consisting of an amorphous silicon material. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer 120 consisting of the amorphous silicon material is provided on a conductive substrate 110 consisting of Al, etc. The layer 102 is separated in function to a blocking layer 121, a photoconductive layer 122 and a buffer layer 123 at need. A surface layer 130 consisting of the amorphous carbon contg. H and F is provided on the layer 120. The concn. of F of the layer 130 is preferably 0.1-5atom%. good photosensitive characteristics are obtd. and the generation of the fatigue and deterioration is obviated even after the long-term preservation or repetive use according to the above-mentioned constitution.
