CATIONIC ADDITIVE FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF PAPER

Paper which has improved physical property and draining property is prepd. by mixing with a cationic additive. Grain starch and tuber starch are mixed, and then this mixt. is cationized. The proper tuber starch content is 10-90 wt.%. The grain starch is choosen between corn starch and wheat starch, and the tuber starch is potato starch. The produced cationic additive is mixed with cellulose pulp. The cationic additive content is 0.1-4 wt.%.
