A multifunction switch having a printed circuit is described, which contains a multiplicity of metal tongues (4) which are anchored on a support (2) on which rotating elements (5) are mounted which are provided with cams at right angles which, by means of a free end of the said tongues (4), produce the displacement thereof in one of two directions, to be precise depending on the type of engagement existing between the cam (5) and the tongue (4). The support consists of a board (2) on which a circuit is printed which electrically connects the said metal tongues (4), in DC terms, to contact elements (3) which are arranged on the edge of the board and to which all the interconnecting wires of the circuit elements of the switch are then connected, and which support is then able to carry out all the functions such as opening and closing of the circuit, switching the circuit over, discharging etc., in that handles are operated which are mounted on the rotation shaft of the said rotating eccentric elements (5). The latter are of a cam (5b) type whose profile is designed, like that of the metal tongues (4), such that a precise series of mutual positions which can be indexed is defined, that is to say the cam-tongue arrangement is extremely stable in any of a limited number of positions. <IMAGE>
