PURPOSE:To improve durability weatherability, a secular characteristic and reliability of the titled detector by incorporating the detector into a housing and further, supplying a reference signal to the detector and taking out a detected signal with noncontact structure using a transformer principle. CONSTITUTION:A rotatable torque detection axis 3 is provided in the annular housing 1 via a bearing 2. Then, one end of the torque detection axis 3 functions as an input terminal 3a and the other end functions as an output terminal 3b. In other words, the output terminal 3b is rotatable following rotation of the input terminal 3a by torsion of the torque detection axis 3 itself and the torque can be detected according to relative rotational displacement between both ends. Further, the reference signal can be supplied to a rotational displacement detection part and a rotational displacement signal can be detected therefrom mechanically under noncontact state using the transformer principle by providing a power source primary coil 8 and a signal secondary coil 13, and a power source secondary coil 11 and a signal primary coil 12 are provided at the housing 1 and the input terminal 3a side of the torque detection axis 3 respectively.
