PURPOSE:To make the treating operation of pile head easier by a method in which an in-situ concrete pile is formed, and a settling retarder is mixed sufficiently even into the outside of the reinforcing bar cage of the pile while blowing air into an extra-banking portion. CONSTITUTION:An in-situ concrete pile is formed, and while air is blown into an extra-banking portion for pneumatic agitation, a settling retarder is mixed into the extra-banking portion. The settling retarder can be sufficiently mixed into the outside concrete portion of the reinforcing bar cage of the concrete pile, permitting apparatus, facility, and operations to be simplified and eased. Even in the case where longer extra-banking portion is required for the treatment of the pile head in the foundation of underground floor, for example, the pile head treatment can be easily attained by using longer air-blowing pipe because said method employs pneumatic agitation.
