PURPOSE:To easily add a program of specific function by providing an area for the name of the program to be added and execution address and providing a registration memory that registers the content of the area in a system. CONSTITUTION:An addition a ROM 4 stores a mounting check pattern in an area 4-0, name and execution start address of function 1 in an area 4-1, and name and execution start address of function 2 in an area 4-2 respectively, and thereafter, name and execution address of functions to be added are stored successively in areas 4-i. The number of ROM and programs of respective function are stored in an area 4-n. When a function is requested from outside, a central controlling unit 2 in on-line operation reads out a function control area 5 and checks whether requested function is registered or not, and when present, jumps to the program of the function by the ROM number and execution start address.
