A sealing such as hose seal (40) which is set, for example, into the door frame (42) of a motor vehicle body, is proposed. The hose seal (40) has at least one hollow space (38) running in its longitudinal direction which can be subjected to different pressures as a function of the position of the door (44) with respect to the motor vehicle. At least when opening or closing the door (44) the internal pressure of the hollow space (38) is lower than that of the surroundings. If the opening of the door (44) is closed, the hollow space (38) is subjected to an overpressure in order to bring about an increased seal. <IMAGE> |
