PURPOSE:To improve the processing speed of data by providing a communication destination selecting means which outputs a control signal for selecting a communication destination of data to an input/output part for serial data of a camera system. CONSTITUTION:The states of a mode switch SWMODE, an up switch SWUP, and a down switch SWDN are read to read setting data. Film sensitivity read by a film sensitivity read part 7 is inputted to a CPU 1 and flash data such as loading data, etc., on a flash device which is read by a flash circuit 5 is inputted to the CPU 1 through a serial data bus. Then, lens data on an open aperture value characteristic to a mounted data which is read by a lens data circuit 4 is inputted to the CPU 1 through the serial data bus. The clock frequency of serial data on the serial data bus is set to phi1 or phi2 according to which of circuits 3, 6, and 7 in camera body the communication destination of the data is and which of circuits 4 and 5 is connected outside through electric contacts. |
