摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To acceleratedly increase the rate of absorption of a component to be absorbed into an absorbent component by impressing a high voltage on the gas-liq. interface between the component to be absorbed and the absorbent component, and generating electric discharge. CONSTITUTION:An AC or DC voltage is impressed on a needle electrode 12 at the upper part of an evaporation vessel 10 contg. the component A (e.g., water) to be absorbed and an electrode 14, hence electric discharge is generated at the gas-liq. interface, and the evaporation of the component A is accelerated. Meanwhile, a high voltage is impressed between electrodes 22 and 26 provided in an adjacent absorption vessel communicating with the vessel 10 through a passage part 18 and contg. the absorbent component B (e.g., lithium bromide soln.) to generate electric discharge at the absorption interface, and the absorption rate is increased. Moreover, electric discharge is generated at the passage part, and the component A is ionized. When a DC voltage is impressed, for example, positive discharge is generated in the evaporation vessel, negative discharge is generated in the passage part, and positive discharge is generated in the absorption vessel by changing the polarity. As a result, the component A is more effectively evaporated, moved, and absorbed.</p>
