摘要 PURPOSE:To enable all light beam to impinge on a screen from a parabolic surface at right angles, to improve the entire uniformity of a focus, and to reduce the depth size of an image display device by using a parabolic mirror and setting the center of the deflection surface (projection surface) of an optical deflector at the focus position of the parabolic surface. CONSTITUTION:A light beam emission part 1 is connected to a light beam controller 7 for modulating the intensity of a light beam according to the contents of a displayed image, galvanomirrors 4 and 5' are connected to a galvanomirror controller 8 so as to vary their amplitudes, rotating speeds, etc., corresponding to the displayed image contents, and the controller 8 is further connected to the light beam controller 7. Further, light beam reflection parts as the rotational center parts of the galvanomirrors 4 and 4' are positioned at respective focus positioned. Thus the positions settings are made and then the lengths of the tracks of light beams (2-2) and (2-3) which are reflected by the galvanomirror 4 and then the parabolic mirror 5 to impinge on the galvanomirror 4' are constant whenever the beams (2-2) and (2-3) are incident on the parabolic mirror 5.
