Process and device for jointing fluid-transport pipe elements, comprising a metal tube and an anti-corrosion layer made from an elastomeric material, as well as, when appropriate, heat-insulation means surrounding the said layer. In order to form a continuous anti-corrosion layer, a sleeve (20) is attached which is made from a material of the same type as that forming the anti-corrosion layer (12), preferably from the same material, joined to the metal tubes (11) of the adjacent elements (101, 102) by an in-situ vulcanisation operation conducted by employing a heat cycle obtained with the aid of means (22) for the induction heating of the said metal tubes.
