PURPOSE:To use a releasing mechanism optionally for proper purposes and to perform fast continuous photography by providing a timer stopping means which stops the operation of a timer when a switch means is turned off after the start of the operation of the timer. CONSTITUTION:Respective control signal lines CMD0-CMD3 to a driver control part 8 are held at levels L, H, H, and L respectively and then a sequence motor M1 is driven in a film winding direction. When a film winding detection switch SW4 is turned off on the completion of the winding of a film, the respective control signal lines CMD0-CMD3 are held at levels L, H, L, and H respectively to apply a brake to the sequence motor M1 and the control signal lines CMD 0-CMD3 are held at the level H a time DELTAT8 later to release the sequence motor M1 from being braked. Thus, if a release switch SW2 is still on after the winding is completed, next releasing operation is started a time DELTAT9 later to enter a single-shot mode and a continuous-shot mode optionally for proper purposes.
