PURPOSE:To prevent the formation of a secondary circuit of a coil short- circuited inside the coil and to make the titled reactor small in size, by using as components metallic plate-shaped bodies joined to the opposite and faces of a laminate iron core and by fitting the coil on the outer periphery of a retaining frame. CONSTITUTION:One end of a metallic plate-shaped body 2a is put in contact with the respective opposite end faces in the direction of lamination of a block- shaped laminate iron core 1 formed of a number of iron core pieces laminated with an insulating layer between, and a plate-shaped body 2b having a length equal to the thickness of lamination of the laminate iron core 1 is fixed to the other end of the body 2a by an appropriate adhesive, so as to construct a retaining frame 2 having a square-shaped cross section. A coil 4 is fitted on the outer periphery of the retaining frame 2, while a fixing layer 7 of an appropriate adhesive is formed between the coil 4 and the retaining frame 2 so as to fix them firmly to each other. By this constitution, formation of a secondary circuit of the coil short-circuited inside the coil 4 is prevented.
