PURPOSE:To notify the user of a bath that the hot water temperature has reached a temperature which exceeds a temperature range by displaying by a flicker signal from a display lamp that the hot water temperature has risen by the combustion of a burner in additional combustion operation of a bath to a temperature that corresponds to the maximum mode of hot water supply temperature mode. CONSTITUTION:When additional combustion operation starts, a burner 2 is turned ON and a combustion lamp 24 is lighted and the additional combustion operation is continued until the temperature in a bath tub 9 reaches a specified temperature independently of the temperature in a hot water supply section 5. When the temperature of the bath tub reaches the temperature which corresponds to maximum mode on an adjustment knob 25, a flicker signal generating circuit 34 is turned ON by signal from a temperature sensor 30 at a hot water supply section 5 and an operation lamp 23 is flickered. When the additional combustion operation ends and the burner 2 is turned OFF, the combustion lamp 24 is turned OFF, but if the temperature of the hot water supply section 5 continues to be at the maximum mode of supplied hot water temperature, the operation lamp 24 flickers. If abnormal combustion occurs with the burner 2 firing, the supply of fuel to the burner 2 is stopped and the flicker signal generating circuit 34 of a control section 21 is turned ON and the combustion lamp 24 is in the state of flicker.
