PURPOSE:To reduce the load imposed on a rotary supporting mechanism as well as to aim at the promotion of miniaturization and lightweightiness in this rotary supporting mechanism, by rotating a driving shaft, a driven shaft and plural arms by operation of a control dial, and making a striker travel on the specified locus. CONSTITUTION:When a lock plate 6 comes into contact with a first engaging part of a driven plate and becomes stationary, a pin 13a at a tip of the first arm 13 tightly attached to one end of a driven wheel 9 occupies a first position. And, a striker 14b at a tip of the second arm 14 coupled with the first arm 13 and shiftably supporting a slide hole 14a with a support pin 5a of a bracket 5 also occupies the first position. And, when a dial 10 is rotated counterclockwise a turn against a spring 12, the driving pin 6a tightly attached to a driving shaft 8 makes the driven plate 7 rotate clockwise, whereby the lock plate 6 stops at the second position. At this time, the pin 13a and the striker 14b both also occupy the second position.
