PURPOSE:To improve the stability against torsion and the like in the nonskid member in the caption by constituting the plural nonskid members coupled between two side ropes at a predetermined intervals from engaging portions provided on both ends of a substantially slender rod-shaped nonskid base and a reinforcing core buried on the axis of the base. CONSTITUTION:In a nonskid device for tire comprising a plurality of nonskid members A coupled at a predetermined intervals between two side ropes 20 arranged in parallel, each of the nonskid members A is constituted from a nonskid body 1 having a substantially slender rod-shaped nonskid base 2 made of comparatively soft rubber, synthetic resin or other materials having stable elasticity against torsion and the like, and engaging portions 3 provided on both ends of the base 2. Also, a reinforcing core 10 made of wire and other materials being strong against tension is buried on the axis in the base 2 of the body 1. Moreover, ring-shaped portions 11 on both ends of the reinforcing core 10 are buried around the peripherys of engaging holes 4 formed on the centers of the engaging portions 3 so as to be lockingly engaged with engaging metal fittings 21 fixed to the side ropes 20.
