PURPOSE:To prevent the backlash of a cock upon assembling as well as the faulty locking caused by abutting against a guide unit, which is due to an upwardly raised lock lever, by a method wherein the lock lever is pushed against a main body mounting plate and slid between the guide of a valve shaft, pushed by an ignition button or the like, and the mounting plate upon setting the position of locking. CONSTITUTION:When an ignition botton 10 is pushed to push a valve shaft 8 into axial direction, a slide plate 12 is dropped through a large diametral hole 14, a notch hole 15 is engaged with the small diametral part 9d of a guiding unit, a piezoelectric lever 19 is also operated to actuate an ignitor 20 and gas, supplied through a valve opened by the valve shaft 8, is ignited. When the pushing force is removed from the ignition button subsequently, the guide unit 9 is retreated slightly and a stepped part 9a is abutted against the rim of the notch hole 12 of the slide plate 12 and is stopped whereby combustion is continued. When a fire regulating lever 16 is set at the locking position thereof, a locking lever 17 is moved in conjunction with it and the tip end 17a of the locking lever 17 is located between a valve body mounting plate 6 and the large diametral part 9c of the guide whereby the large diametral part 9c is abutted against the tip end 17a and the valve shaft 8 can not be pushed. On the other hand, the tip end 17a slides while being pushed against the valve body mounting plate 6 by a spring 18, therefore, the tip end 17 may be operated smoothly.
