PURPOSE:To enable the simplification of the control of manufacturing equipment and that of attached installations, by dropping a belt-shaped iron plate forcibly into first and second punch-down stations having a specific construction. CONSTITUTION:One E-type iron core plate E2 taken as a material secondly to one end of a belt-shaped iron plate 100 is formed by punching by a first punch-down station 2 and dropped down into this station 2, and then this E-type iron core plate 2 is punched away. Then, the other E-type iron core plate E1 formed from one end of the belt-shaped iron plate 100 is conveyed to a second punch-down station 4, and subsequently this plate E1 dropped into the second punch-down station 4 on the basis of a pressing motion. According to this constitution, both of one E-type iron core plate E2 and the other E-type iron core plate E1 are sent forcibly into a bottom tool 1 through the punch-down stations, and thereby the control of manufacturing equipment and attached installations can be simplified.
