PURPOSE:To obtain an image forming method which provides excellent quality of a dropout characteristic image by overlapping and returning by subjecting a photosensitive material which has >=10 gamma value and can be handled in a bright room to image exposure with light without contg. substantially <=370nm light. CONSTITUTION:A system in which a silver halide photographic emulsion is used is known as a method for forming the image having >=10 gradation gamma. a method for forming the substantially bright room photosensitive material includes a method for forming particles by adding an inorg. desensitizing agent to considerably decrease the sensitivity of the silver halide emulsion to said emulsion and a method for incorporating a dye having the absorption in the long wave end of the silver halide in said region. The method for 'subjecting the photosensitive layer to image exposure with the light contg. substantially no <=370nm light ' includes a method for incorporating a UV absorbent into the photosensitive material, a method for using an optical filter to absorb UV rays or method for using a light source having substantially no emission energy of <=370nm. |
