PURPOSE:To obtain a pseudo stereoscopic display system provided with a function forming a synchronizing signal to drive a light bulb simply and inexpensively without revamping an existing television set by forming a signal in synchronism with a frame signal from an output signal of a photodetector detecting the brightness change of a screen. CONSTITUTION:A photodetector 2 is set to a position detecting the brightness change of a narrow region of a screen 1. A synchronizing signal generating circuit 3 to generate a frame signal of the display from the output of the photodetector element 2 connected to the output terminal of the photodetector 2 is coupled with a drive circuit 4 to drive a light bulb 6 of spectacles 5 with the light bulb worn by the observer in radio or by a cable. The right and left eyes of a picture displayed on the screen 1 by the photodetector 2 is detected by the brightness change and the light bulb 6 for the right/left eyes is switched alternately according to the frame signal generated by the photodetector 2 and the synchronizing signal circuit 3. Thus, the picture for the right eye and the picture for the left eye displayed alternately on the screen 1 are separated into the right and left eyes of the observer, and both the pictures having a shift are combined and observed, resulting in obtaining a stereoscopic view. |
