PURPOSE:To enable the driving torque of a DC motor to be switched, by switching the terminals of a first and a second windings wound up on a core to feed voltage. CONSTITUTION:A DC motor M is composed of a first coil R1 and a second coil R2 wound up on a core. When a switch SW is connected to a contact t1, then power voltage V is fed to the series circuit of the coils R1, R2, and the DC motor has high-speed and low-torque characteristic. When the switch SW is connected to a contact t2, then the power voltage V is fed to the coil R2 only, and the DC motor has low-speed and high-torque characteristic. As a result, the driving force of the motor can be effectively used.
