PURPOSE:To assume control around a theoretical air-fuel ratio by comparing an integration of the rich side with an integration of the lean side in an air-fuel feedback control whereby correcting one or more out of delay in time, a skip constant, and an integral constant for making the difference smaller. CONSTITUTION:Values detected by sensors such as an air-flow meter 20, a throttle sensor 23, an O2 sensor 25, a rotation angle sensor 26, and the like are inputted into an electronic control device 30, and feedback control to a target air-fuel ratio is assumed over a basic injection quantity computed based on a suction air quantity and engine speed, on the basis of detected value from the O2 sensor 25. An integration of increment in fuel feed is compared with an integration of decrement in fuel feed, and if a difference exists between them, one or more out of time in delay of change-over, a skip constant, and an integration constant in the feedback control are corrected so that the difference will become smaller.
